It all began one day in 1997, when Cintia Ortuño met the world. She lived her childhood in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a very pretty village on the Costa Brava (Catalonia, Spain).
Her first serious contact with the fine arts’ world was when she started an artistic baccalaureate at Sant Elm High School.
A very strong influence on her was Olga Massaguer, for whom she had infinite appreciation.

Cintia decided to study audiovisual and multimedia communication because she was very interested in learning new things that she had never done related to art. She wanted to learn to do everything she had already done with the computer."
As the university, being private, was very expensive, she applied for a scholarship. After doing several interviews with the director and passing several tests, she got it. Of course, she had to do a scholarship and keep her grades remarkable every year of college to maintain it.
Here's a video to see the college if you are curious..
In college she was introduced to graphic design, marketing, cinematography, programming and many more subjects she never thought she would do.She had two very powerful graphic design teachers. They are Genís Carreras, internationally known for his awards, and Jordi Caralt, an expert in art direction, graphic design, editorial, web and advertising.
Here are their websites, so you can have a look at them:
In the group's final project, Cintia was Art director and actor for the SOL transmedia project, winner of many international awards, and also played the role of graphic designer, of course.

When Cintia had not yet finished college, she was called to take the graphic image of an election campaign in Girona. She accepted and started an extracurricular internship. Once she finished university, she started working officially for the city council of Girona as a communication consultant and graphic designer. One of her daily tasks was to create content for social networks and event photography. At this stage of her life, she met many important people, of which Sílvia Paneque stands out, a woman of reference in many among them. Here is her instagram profile, in case you are curious.
